After I was laid off from my job I decided to take a pottery class. Around that time my mother passed away and I realized that life is short and that if you want something you should just go for it. My mother was born Mary Ellen Potter and had three wonderful sisters whom were known around town as the Potter girls or sisters. So of course I named my new business after her- after all I am a Potter Sister too!
